Our privacy practices

The short version

This is an informational website. We do not sell products, we do not take payments, and we do not ask you to create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information unless you email us.

Information we collect

Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it to reply and nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell it.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server log data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages visited and timestamps. This is used for security and to understand which pages are read.

Analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. This is aggregate data and is not used to identify individuals.

Cookies and affiliate tracking

This site may set cookies for basic functionality and analytics. When you click a link to the seller's website, that seller may set an affiliate tracking cookie so any resulting purchase is attributed to this site. That cookie is set by the seller's system, not by us, and is governed by the seller's own privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking them will not stop this site working.

Third parties

When you leave this site by clicking an order link, you are on the seller's website and their privacy policy applies. We have no access to and no control over what they collect, including any payment information you enter. We never see your payment details.

We may load web fonts and stylesheets from third-party content delivery networks, which receive your IP address as a normal part of serving those files.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to processing. Because this site collects almost nothing, in most cases the answer is that we hold only an email exchange if you started one.

To make a request, email support@memo-valt.us. We will respond within a reasonable period.

Children

This website is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Data retention and security

Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with the matter raised. Server logs are retained for a limited period by our hosting provider for security purposes.

We take reasonable measures to protect information, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
